Spreader Loads?

A friend tried shooting birds inside the barn with 22lr shot loads, with similar results. Even at 5 yards, they were useless.

The cci ones with the blue caps work alot better but often you need to aim to the side. I've shot alot of mice with them. That #12 wont kill a farm rat
Tried the 9mm ones thru a jrc carbine. Abysmal. Not even sure where the pellets went but anything in the direction of the shot was safe

A buddy of mine uses the plastic colored bingo card markers for his over shot disks !! Certain colors for certain size shot. He said he checked with some of his wife's acquaintances that no longer went to bingo...he now has a life time supply...LOL
Amazon has them too. Pretty nifty idea.
