Spring bear hunting grounds

Google the Crown Land Atlas and pick a spot thats got the habitat a bear would like, scouting is your best bet. I worked on my spot for 6 months lots of driving, lots of hiking, lots of glassing, it all payed off last week when I got my first Black Bear!!

Anyone know any good crown areas for spring bear? I got all my recipes, knives and processing gear ready.

Yup.

Sounds like you just need a Rifle or Bow now, and to put some time in scouting........ like everyone else.

~Edit~
Oh!, and most people here aren't psychic, maybe start with your location.

You just joined and want hot spots handed to you??

Good luck as all the previous post indicate you gotta go find them yourself.

tough crowd around these here parts these days..... no matter where you are in this great land......find some out of the way south facing slopes that are greened up would be my first choice. Mind you I will take my spring bear about 101 meters behind the house this year, just waiting on him to pass thru again :D

Well thanks for the advice for the ones who didn't sass me, I typically don't hunt bear but I decided to give it a go and I own a few guns and a bow also and I know scouting is the basic vague answer for every Hunter but I don't have a lot of time to give due to doing shift work. Also since I am the most optimistic chap or try to be thank you again everyone for the advice!

Zipper Lip rock is my go to spot.
South facing slope 10% grade that is covered in wild clover this time of year.
Even a few Wild Bees are out buzzing around getting ready to make honey.
X marks the spot.
Need good boot leather though.
