Around here...its would seem the Bears are out of the dens now.......started wandering on the outskirts of town already.

I'd have to agree walleye eat good but they fight like a rubber boot and I'm more about the catchin than the eatin.Even SM Bass fillets are good,I kill every one of those Csers that I catch whether I eat'em myself or feed'em to the coons and bears.f'n bucket brigade is ruining s.NB trout waters one lake at a time with illegal intros and some stupid CSer even put smallies in Miramichi Lk.,the very headwaters of the most productive Atlantic salmon river in the world.F'n B#######s should be hung!

Saw the tracks of a large bruin in the snow this past weekend. With such a mild winter, I guess they are stirring earlier than usual.

Unexpectedly, we saw tracks in the deep snow at our place in southern Manitoba three weeks ago, mild winter and all, I guess.

we have been dumped on today with snow, (Grande Parairie)...and it's still falling...

Saw 4 blackies from the helicopter the other day on the south coast. One of them was a bruiser even at this time of year! Lots of green everywhere for them to much on.
