Spring bear

here is my completed spring blackbear from last year..I shot it for sausage meat..and got 120 pounds of sausage meat...the bear was 6' and average for that size..head was not all that big...I was joined by a good friend who has never had the chance for a bear and lives far far far away..so I had the bear made into a rug and am sending it to him as a gift ..the taxi did an exellent job and I know my bud will LOVE it..

beautiful. if you don't mind my asking, who did you taxidermy and how much did it cost? i'm looking at doing something similar this year.

the taxi work was done @Pigeon Rd ..WILDLIFE DESIGNS by Steven owner/taxidermist..he does great work on bears cougars deer goats sheep..he doesnt advertise as he gets all the work he can handle..this job was a 8 month wait..pretty darn good as his usual is 1 year..cost is changing??but was on par with most shops ...
