Spring Wild turkey - Southwestern Ontario

Hey folks,

Hope everyone’s having a great season so far!
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for good open areas to try for wild turkey, or if you know of any private landowners who might be open to granting permission to a new hunter. I'm looking to get out there for my first wild turkey hunt.

I've got my PAL, hunting license, tags, OFAH membership, & Equipments all in order.

Really appreciate any tips or leads.

Go scout and knock on doors... that is the first step of hunting...

You didn't mention where your at, there are county forest you can try and yes you can try knocking on doors

Look up Middlesex county wood lots. Many of them allow hunting. I have seen plenty.

I've got a friend in Etobicoke that hunted with me when he lived in BC but he never got his firearms license till last year.
He's was also looking for someone to turkey hunt with and potential areas . I'm in BC so not much help to him
