I am looking at buying a good quality springer air rifle and will need a scope.

Does anyone know of any springer rated riflescopes that are not made in China?

Having the scope being made literally anywhere other than China is more important to me than the cost.

Ideally I want to find a scope with these options: variable power such as 3-15 or 4-16; second focal plane; 30 or 34 mm main tube; externally adjustable turrets and of course ale to withstand the recoil of a springer air rifle.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

sorry I mistyped the scope name will edit later
is this better perhaps
Most are field target scopes but they are great
more later

Thanks for a completely irrelevant reply. I do not want a PCP field target rifle.

I want a rifle I can take in the field that does require me to haul a scuba tank or hand pump along.

Which part of name a non Chinese springer rated scope was unclear in my first post?

A lot of reBranded scopes in America, that is a problem.
I don't know much about springer airguns I only have PCP's.

I have two prizm scopes from Immersive Optics, the 14x50 and 5x30 pro, I got these directly from UK/Ireland supplier.
These are specifically designed for airguns. Now about springer recoil I would suggest email them a question.

I know also that immersive made a batch with different model numbers for element optics.

I just got an idea... call Travis @ airgunsource (in Peterborough). He was also a dealer for MTC and others mentioning earlier.

All these Brands are made UK with Japanese glass, no China parts.

Big Nikki maybe 500-1 grand
falcon 1500-1650 new with Harris stuff
sightron 2400 or so but I have 1 new in box for 2 grand

all will work but you probably want something smaller

guntech hit the nail on the head. Hawke scopes in spite of being made in China hold up extremely well. My TX200 and HW97 eat up scopes for breakfast, even the mighty Leupolds die within a month when put on a Springer. I too cring to put on a Chinese scope and spend the extra bucks on scopes from Germany, Japan etc.
Tempted to put on a Nightforce BUT these Hawkes haven’t failed me in over 10 years of heavy use…..and Travis at AGS knows his stuff and recommends them for springers.

My $99 3-9 AO Stoger from Cabelas has been on a PAL rated 1200 fps GAMO OUTBACK for a couple of years without issues.

Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions. It is so disappointing that the only available products are made in China. The Stoeger is too.

I would pay a hefty premium to have a product made entirely outside China with no Chinese content.

My issue is not about quality, it’s about not supporting a communist regime that interferes in our politics. I would rather not give the Chinese a nickel. Now I have to decide if I bother to buy a springer air rifle at all.

Even if it's not made in China. It's parts made in China and assembled in another country.

leupold manufactures an air rifle rated scope but I don't think enough of them are out in the wild for a credible assessment. made in USA.

I'd be happy running a bushnell 6500 elite 2.5-16x42 on a springer, if it did break it's covered under warranty so no fear in giving it a go.
Made in Japan, nice glass to my eyes and the side focus adjustment is nice. Mildot reticle.

The 4500's 4-16x are nice as well.

Should be around $500 used, not sure if they still make them?

South Korea and The Philippines are two other non Chinese source countries.

i use a hawke on my diana 48 … the 48 is a scope killer, and its held up great.
makesure the scope you buy is springer rated… id hate to see you buy a big buck rifle scope only to see it get trashed by the springer
I understand the want to avoid made in china… hard to do

I find this funny...the computer or phone you are using to post here...guaranteed has 90% of its guts made in China...as are much of the electronics in your car, appliances, etc. I too am not a fan of China's politics but if you think you are going to avoid it...dream on. All one can do is buy from a reputable non-Chinese company...but avoiding Chinese parts in their products...little chance of that happening.
Until Leica, Swarovski, Zeiss or Nightforce etc start making airgun scopes your likely hooped.

I find it sad. I realize that 95% of the things I use are full of Chinese parts. That does not mean i am happy about it nor do I think I should stop trying to source such products.

With respect to my decision about a scope for a springer rifle, you are correct, there is zero prospect of finding what I am looking for. As a result I have decided not to purchase a springer rifle at all.

What's wrong with the Made in Japan Bushnells I suggested last month?
I would look for a used Elite 6500 myself but I'm pretty sure the new Tactical Elite's or what ever they call them are still made in Japan.
