Is there a difference between a TRP "Operator" and just a TRP? I know Springfield makes a TRP, but I think there was a TRP Operator that was produced a few years ago. Am I right? If so, what is the difference between the two?

TRP OPERATOR has a half rail ,TRP doesnt .....same price though . Theres also an OPERATOR wich is a little cheaper . Couple of years ago they had the TRP OPERATOR with FULL RAIL ...that one was sweet !!! Orderered one hard chrome but after a year of waiting with still no ETA I deceided to cancel the order . I hear a lot of good about the TRP s .... If i could find a full rail TRP OPERATOR on EE id jump on it .

You can still get a full length dust cover version of the TRP Operator, but you have to go through the custom shop and she ain't cheap, no sir, not by a long shot.

I just picked up an "old" circa 2004, full rail TRP operator. Looks good. My only complaint is that I don't like the sand-paper texture grips.

I will try to post some pics later. This thing looks totally badass.

Look anything like this?
