Springfield 1911 Range Officer & Mil Spec available in Canada?

I've been searching high and low for Springfield 1911's in Canadian gun stores and online. Does no one carry these pistols in Canada? Are they really that rare? I can find plenty on American websites.

Unlike the Ruger SR1911, it can be found online in Canada but just out of stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

This could be a dumb question but i am new to the 1911 world.
 
After 9 months of waiting for a TRP, I gave up and went for a SR1911.

Springfield really don't give a -beep- of Canadian customers.
I think R Nicholls is their only distributor here. So who ever order it for you, it will be done by Nicholls.

Your other option is to buy it from GunBrokerDOTcom or alike and get it imported by an authorized third party (typically adds 150-250 to the price) but it will still be a lot cheaper than buying it directly from Springfield via Nicholls + Dealer

I know what you mean. I'm on a waiting list for the SR1911 too. Maybe the Springfield will my next 1911 purchase.
