Springfield RO or Colt Competition

I have both and feel them equivalent. I tend to prefer the sights on the Springfield, but the adjustable novak on the Colt is quite serviceable

My RO is 9mm and the Colt is 38 Super, so they are two different variety of apples.

If I was to buy another I would go Colt, because "Colt".

If you go for the Colt, get the new Series 70 version. Mine isn't, so I spent a few extra $ for a spacer and tossed that idiot firing pin block out

Both these guns don't have front checkering. Should SIG be considering as well ? It seems to have lots of features.
Colt is highly recommended here, but is particularly wrong with SIG ? Please advice.

Don't overlook the CZ Shadow2. It's just superb! C$1245.00. The excellent CZ Shadow SP01 is now just over C$800.00!

Glock's model 34 is also a great choice. Stick with 9mm. It's the most popular cartridge by far.....

Great advice. My guess is you will shoot more 9mm than 45 or 10mm or 40, and the more you shoot the better you will get.
