I have had this beauty for some time......
1903-Springfield.jpg

.....and would be interested in seeking an un-biased appraisal; so the question is who (and where) is qualified for this task. I may consider posting for sale depending on value.
This is a 1903 Springfield NRA Match rifle with Redfield International micrometer rear sight and Redfield International globe front sight with one original aperature insert. Bore is excellent, and the miniscule amount of shooting I have done with it has rendered one inch groups at 100 yd.
This site http://www.gunsinternational.com/results.cfm?cid=329 has some dazzeling values on some of these rifles.

Any suggestions are quite welcomed. Thanks.

I suspect that what you have is a target rifle made up on a Springfield action, for use in the across-the-course US National Match type shooting, either at Camp Perry, or in state level matches. The rifle does not appear to be one of the target rifles assembled at Springfield.
Have a really good look at the barrel, and see if there are any marks which would suggest who installed the barrel.
Send a PM to Corben1, and ask him to have a look at the photo.

Looks like a nice old course rifle, but not an International.

Several photos would help. Serial number, handstop and front sight attachment especially.

How about any markings?

Looks great!

OK, thanks you guys, that's exactly what I needed to know. Since it's not of great value, it will be a keeper as it makes a nice compliment to my recently acquired Browning 1919 (semi auto only) of similar vintage in .30-06. :)
