Springfield M1903 stocks

Hello all I'm looking to see if I can find someone who can make a new stock, or if anyone knows of any unissued stocks, the one on my rifle now seems to have been a attempt to sporterize it, cut right under the middle band, the previous owner drilled and added a dowel section and used bad glue, looking to replace the stock and handguard

Sounds like a duffel cut not a sporterizing attempt... fixing it would likely be easier and cheaper.

Marstar lists new M1903 handguards. If you check ebay there's a vendor in the Netherlands selling NOS scant style stocks and handguards.

Don't try to buy a military stock from a US vendor who does not have an export license. Don't ask me how I know this.

Yes, Numrich/GPC has military M1903 stocks and they export to Canada as well. I use them for a couple of parts orders each year.

And Numrich no longer has the $35 export fee previously charged to us poor Canadians.

I've used Numrich a lot over the years and have never been disappointed on quality. I visited their place in upstate New York in 1980 and found it truly impressive.
Long ago and far away during the Vietnam war we couldn't get .50 cal barrels from the US supply system so we wound up buying a bunch from Numrich.
