Just wondering if anyone has loaded for a match M1a, and if so what would be a good starting sport.

I load for many custom and factory tactical, target bolt guns, but never for an auto

any advice would be appreciated.

Was built about 10 years ago, Custom Loaded Match rifle.

Very close to the super match but does not have the same stock.

The only essential part about reloading for any semi-auto is that the brass must be full length resize every time. Watch the case lengths too. Other than that, it's the same as loading for any target rifle. Some will say you need to crimp. Never have myself. Never been an issue either.
I'd be using 155, 168 or 175 grain match bullets with IMR4064 or Varget. The 168's would be my first choice though. Just a personal preference.

That is what I went with,,45 gr of Varget over 168s

Varget does not build as bad as some propelants should be under 50,000 PSI

thats 2.5 grains down from my Bolt rifles.....I know different animals

I hope that works, still lists under max.

Why do these thing blow up...easy
