- Badly indexed barrel
- Fibreglass hand guard missing
- Fibreglass hand guard too long
- Crappy Chu wood stock
- Roughly machined
- Bad headspace
- Feeding problems
- Loose hand guard/front band
- Loose operating guide rod
- Non centred operating rod
- Offset gas piston
- Crappy trigger pull
- Metal work crude
- Crappy rear sight/off centre
- Front sight base on the flash hider assembly machined incorrectly
- Flash hider had a lot of "flash" left over from a poor QC
- Flash hider out of spec
- Flash hider offset
- Cocking effort problem (op rod binding on wood)

Jesus...look, just because not everybody thinks the SAI is the be-all-end-all rifle and a guy gets a suggestion for another manufacturer does not mean you need to do the whole SAI-vs-nork thing, does it?

This entire time I've been talking strictly about US-made m14s...why you need to bash norks is beyond me. They clearly perform well as dozens-to-hundreds-to-possibly-thousands of guys here could tell you, but I am just suggesting the guy check out A DIFFERENT US MANUFACTURER rather than immediately go for an SAI.

Nope doesn't mean we need to beat that dead horse you are right.

Both guns, the SAI's, and the Norinco's have their own purposes. That debate has about another 50 topics on this board at the least.

LRB would be a very nice idea but their basic model will set you back $2,459.00 (American Green Backs by the way not Canadian) before you even pay Questar to import it for you.
