Smart guys?

Yeah be a smart guy and buy a Norinco
Change:
stock
barrel
oprod
bolt
sights
gas system

Pay sombody to do the work. You"ll really have something then. And yeah this irks me. Like I said before when the Norincos fail its ok. Must be the ammo or weather conditions.

The question was where can he buy a Springfield?

Norinco

"I bought mine from The ammo source (SFRC sponsor top rigth)! trigger was defective on arrival. They exchanged it without any kind of problem. Its when thing doesnt go as planned that you can judge customer service.
Considering they are all pretty much the same price at + or - 10$ I strongly suggest you to buy it from SFRC so you will have real customer service for your dollars.
429$ including 2 mag, bayonet lug!"

Geez lots of problems. So whats chicken to one guy is feathers to another. Some of us want a Springfield. Some feel they are overpriced. Fair enough. I have 3 M1A's that cost me about 17.48 Norincos. My choice. Am I stupid? I don't think so. I have been toying with the idea of buying a Norinco to strip right to the reciever. On the other hand I might buy an LRB. In any event guys we all agree we like the M14 platform. For me its with a GI stock. I don't like rails, disco balls or a moon roof. Personal preference. I think the Sage stock is goofy, just me. We should organize some M14 iron sight match shooting. Stock and modified.

Wolverine

Question: What makes you think that all those parts are required to improve accuracy? Norinco barrels, oprods, gas systems are very good. Nothing wrong with the bolt other than generous head space (which is not critically out of spec.). Stock is soft, but usable. Sight can be hit and miss, but somewhat better on the newer poly models. I would much rather have a forged Norinco receiver over a cast receiver.

Try wolverinesupplies or just get a norinco like the smart people ;)

Uh huh...

So, just cause I own a Springfield, that makes me and others apart of the "not smart" crowd. Not trying to go off on a tandem here and start a Norc vs. Springfield battle, but I would catch the same, if not more, flak for saying the Poly/Norinco owners are stupid for paying for something cheaper.

Owning either doesn't make you stupid...

@ The OP

Get what you want, cause only your opinion matters. Everybody else can take their fan boy attitude and get stuffed.

Holy lord.

As a somewhat new member on the boards - I see a lot of b*tching and moaning between members - especially about Norc vs WHATEVER.

I own norcs. I also one firearms that aren't norcs.

To each their own folks - this was clearly a springfield thread, no need for the Norc team (which I am a Norc owner too) to jump in a preach.

Try Wolverine supplies, heck call around to a few local gun shops to see what they have. You never know.

Spend what you want and how you want, none of anyone's business, you want to spend more and get m1a then good for you, if someone asks about m1a don't get your pants in a twist over it, they want to spend the money not you.

Big hugs to all the Springfield fans, I never knew you guys were so sensitive. Like I said try wolverine or buy a nork and spend a grand on her. You will then have a better gun then the Springfield for less money. Don't beleave me ask any m14 expert on this form ;)

I answer your m1a question and gave you the nork option in a cheeky way, it's always good to look at both sides of the fence guys :)

I'll believe you when you can spell it...

Also, I'm not really sensitive. I, like others, don't appreciate being insulted based on what guns I own. Do you see me in many of the numerous Norinco threads bashing them for not owning a Springfield? No, you don't.

Hey Dude,

I just ordered an M1A from Wolverine. They said it might take a year to get the order filled due to Springfield orders to Canada. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I own a Norinco as well, but I would rather own a Springfield.
