.I didn't think there was any thing wrong with the OEM Commie springs.
Why go out of your way to get a Springfield op rod spring guide? There are multiple Canadian made ones which are cheaper, yet are super high quality, and they'll get to your door faster.

There is no reason to change the spring unless you find that your spring is relaxed. I've heard of this happening with early chinese import rifles but nothing on the newer ones. If you have the very unlikely situation where the factory spring is not cycling the action properly then yes change it out but otherwise there is no good reason.
If you change your mind about the springfield guide and want to try an Alberta made guide from Tartan Tactical let me know but I am sure you will find the springfield guide will work great but like previously stated the ones made in Canada will work just as good at half the cost.
