Springfield Professional 1911?

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you own a Springfield Professional 1911 from their custom shop? If not do any of you know someone who owns one in Canada or know if it is possible for us to order one from their custom shop? I know the wait is long but sounds like it would be worth it.

you can ask wolverine to order one for u , about 1 year wait last time i ckecked . And the people who own them , keep em for a good reason . Havent seen one for sale on EE , ever !!

Yeah they seem like keepers, that's for sure. Definitely a serious wait time though.
 
Your best bet is to find one for sale in the US (some gun shops order them 'on spec') and have Prophet River bring it in for you. The last time I heard the wait was 16 months (possibly why they don't get sold, anyone who's willing to wait isn't going to give it up). Not cheap by any measure, but it is the last 1911 that is US Government issue - and probably the best US issue 1911 ever.
