I've got one. They're put together pretty tight ie no rattling of the slide etc. They saved money by not dehorning the edges so some parts like the safety can feel sharp. The chambers are pretty tight too so you may have to adjust your reloads. Factory ammo cycles without a hiccup. Adjustable rear sights is a nice bonus unless you prefer combat sights. The heavy weight of the 1911 makes it feel like a you're shooting a BB gun. They're plenty accurate too.
The only things I didn't like about the RO is that there was no frontstrap checkering and if you decide to go with a lighter mainspring, you will have to buy a new mainspring housing, plunger and capture pin as the current one uses the Springfield ILS system. Other than that, they're great guns.
Another good option might be the SAM 1911s which offer more features ie dehorned, frontstrap checkering, ambi safety etc than the RO for less money.
