Hey all

I was on a short day trip to the USA the other day and I had the opportunity to look over and hold onto the new springfield XD-M. All I can say is wow what an improvement over the older XD. Does anyone know where we can get these in Canada? Or am I gonna have to import one? The gun feels great in the hand and has a short reset. The trigger for a striker fired pistol feels fantastic. I can't wait to shoot one.... It almost feels as nice as my M&P.;)

Hey, I was told by P & D and Wolverine that these COULD NOT be imported due to the magazine capacity issue (anything over 10 rounds is prohib). I was told to wait until Springfield Armory makes the XDm magazines in 10 round capacity THEN they can be exported here....

The hardest part is waiting...

I was going to buy two, one in 9mm and one in .40 before I left Michigan. :( Great guns, I especially love the capacity (not that it matters over here). 16+1 shots of .40 or 19+1 of 9mm is a lot of firepower.

Has anybody got an XD-M yet? I was on the website today and they make 10 round mags now. They look great, I'm hoping that I can find one in stock. If not, does anybody know how I would go about importing it?

My distributors still aren't listing the XDM with the 10 round mag.

I'm sure once they hit the american distributors it won't be too long before they're in Canada.

I'll import some if the timing is right. I'm sure other dealers will too.

K.O.

I hope it sells for over 1K to dissapoint all the jerks that think it's something more than another mediocre plastic gun who fell for the gun rag photo shoots and hype.
