springs for Alfa Proj

Hello.

I was wondering if anybody had changed the hammer spring on an Alfa Proj 9251 for something lighter. If so what did you use? I am thinking that a ruger gp100 spring kit might be right but was wondering if someone had first hand knowledge.

There were Alfa Proj spring kits out there a few years back. Haven't seen/heard a lot about Alfa Proj's in the last few years though.

I hear they can be a pain to reassemble, and springs can go flying when you take it apart, never to be seen again... just a heads up...
