Well, with all the drama going on regarding in the NEA threads, this may be a risk, but what the hell. cou:

I'm wondering if there are any Edmonton Gunnutz that might have the following black guns and might want to meet up on Saturday at the Spruce Grove Gun Club.

Benelli MR1
HK SL-8
Keltec SU-16
AR180B

I have an NEA15 that I'll be shooting on Saturday, should you be itching to test drive and inspect one.

If you don't have one of the above mentioned black guns for me to try, you can shoot my NEA for a small fee. Let's say, one Shilling?

sorry, I couldn't help myself :dancingbanana:

All kidding aside, I did have some troubles with my gun, but Dave handled them for me to my satisfaction. I took care of the trigger pull issue on my own and changed the springs. I'm pretty happy with how it runs now.

I just want a non-restricted gun that takes AR mags and is less than $2K for shooting coyotes, gophers and banging at targets away from an official range.

Anyone interested in ditching the drama and doing some shooting?

What time were you thinking of going in Saturday? I'm interested, if I can go as a guest of yours! I can bring a box of federal .233 if youd let me shoot your NEA to try it out!

I'm thinking probably first thing in the morning, which is 10:00 AM there. Last time I went to shoot it, the range was packed, so I wasn't able to shoot it out to 100yards, and didn't get a chance to burn any ammo at the dreaded "rapid fire" rate.

You are welcome to come as my guest and try it out. :)

That wasn't me at Phoenix....

I dont have those brands but hey I'm close to and have others. . Post what time you're going and I'll try to pop in. :)

I'll be there for 10:00AM.

That's cool. I have only shot a couple other brands of ARs. It's always fun to try them out to add to the bucket list:D

Have you looked at the VZ58 in .223 with an AR magwell conversion?

I looked at one last week and it also had a 10 rd XRC pistol mag equipt. It really peeked my interest.

Here you can only shoot coyote with less than .23 cal hence why I am looking for a .223 or 22-250.

I would also be really interested in this. What length is your NEA, are you thinking of getting rid of it in favor of one of the other options or in addition to?

I would love to join but they make you take a f**kin safety course. I don't have time for that.

Relative to other ranges nearby, they are VERY safety Nazi at SG. They have their reasons, but seriously....1 shell in a shotgun at a time??? No rapid firing??? Yeah, I bailed after my first year there. At times it can be quite overcrowded - I suppose that can be said for any range, but it's more frequent there than, say, Gennessee.

I considered Sherwood Park, but absolutely no guests so there went that idea.

WAIT! NO Rapid firing for real????

Please confirm if so that sucks!

AN AR not able to continuously throw lead in the air is a castrated AR! :(

I don't want to spread disinformation - I don't know how it is there now. I think it was '09 I was a member there. Mostly hated it.

Took my buddy, we shot some clays. With a pump gun. One. Shell. At. A. Time.

I can do 2 guests on Saturday. If another member comes, he can bring 2 as well. I don't know about an actual rapid fire rule. I'll have to check the website. I just tend not to throw brass around like mad when I can't have a clear space beside me. I just got in, and need to get up early tomorrow, so we can finalize the details tomorrow.

I don't remember any rapid fire rule, but I would be wrong. I think as long as your being safe it shouldn't be a problem.
