SPS Vs LSS

Maybe someone can clear this up for me is there anything different about the Rem 700 sps to the Rem 700 LSS rifle besides the stocks.

Lss is stainless laminate, and the finish is much smoother on the metal.

Sps is blued synthetic, with rougher finish.

The SPS stainless also has a considerably rougher finish than the LSS,which IMHO is a much better finished rifle. Mur

The SPS is a 700 that they never finished building, then plunked in a $2 stock and shipped. Despite being rough they tend to shoot just as well as anything else. Disturbingly often they shoot better.

According to Remington customer support the SPS SS, CDL SF and LSS currently, (as of February, 2012) all have the same finish.

SPS = junk. And I'm a remington fan.
