Curious if anyone is running a Spuhr QD Mount? What your overall experience has been with it so far? I’d love to be able to change out scope/mount as I have 3 set ups I’d like to alternate the mount/optic with.

Sounds like guys are having great success with them. Just looking for a little more insight.

Would be jumping between 22lr. 6.5 Grendel & possibly 223.Rem.

I don't think you're any better off for your intended purpose getting the qd vs non-qd. Just get the regular ones and torque to the same value every time and note the offset between zeros in your data books so you can dial on your zero when you swap the optic around. Odds are you'll be within 0.1 mil of zero doing that. I don't swap optics between rifles often but I do have a bunch of different barrels for most of my rifles. I pull off the optic when I swap the barrel and then re-install the optic and dial on my noted zero offset and verify it. I've never had it be off by more than 0.1.

I was a little concerned with the cams having to be adjusted between different pic rails, but no getting around that one really with QD. Could almost see it being difficult to get the same tension on the each rail. Looking like a standard screw mount may be just fine for my purposes. Storage is getting tight in the safe & having the ability for a quick dismount would be nice before storage but if I’m using tools to set up the Mount/optic, a screw mount may as well be utilized.
