Prague (September 11, 2026) ― Colt CZ Group SE announces that the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) has selected the Grenade Launcher Sight Mount (GLSM) developed by Spuhr i Dalby AB (“Spuhr”), a subsidiary of Colt CZ Group, as a new sighting solution for grenade launchers used by Danish Armed Forces. Deliveries are expected to begin in early 2027, in step with Denmark's newly acquired grenade launchers.
The new GLSM solution is designed to increase the accuracy and operational effectiveness of grenade launchers while providing greater flexibility. The sighting solution can be mounted on several types of grenade launchers and adjusted for different types of ammunition, allowing it to be adapted to both current and future weapon and ammunition combinations.
By introducing a unified and more modern sighting solution, the Danish Armed Forces will also be able to reduce the need for different types of dedicated equipment and streamline soldier training. The new GLSM will replace several older sighting systems currently in use.
“The new sights give us a completely different kind of flexibility in terms of ensuring the best possible accuracy with grenade launchers. This will reduce the need for special equipment across the various grenade launchers and ammunition types that we have in the Armed Forces,” said Colonel Thomas Øgendahl Knudsen, Head of the Land Division at the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation.
“We are very proud that the Danish Armed Forces have selected Spuhr’s Grenade Launcher Sight Mount. The GLSM was developed around the requirements of professional users and designed to provide a flexible solution across different weapons and ammunition configurations. This selection is an important recognition of Spuhr’s engineering expertise, and we are pleased to support the Danish Armed Forces with a solution that meets both current and future operational needs,” said Ulf Nilsson, CEO of Spuhr.
The new sighting systems are expected to be delivered in early 2027 and will be used with the new grenade launchers, which were acquired by the Danish Armed Forces in 2025.
