The Winchester shotguns will be drawn from the names of shooters who have participated in the 400-target shoot held Saturday and Sunday. As has been stated previously, you must be in attendance at the supper on Saturday where 4 shotguns will be drawn for and the wind up on Sunday where 2 shotguns will be drawn for. The person picking up the gun must be in possession of a valid PAL. Six shotguns will be given away if there are 100 or more shooters, otherwise the number will be prorated to the attendance.
Meals will be catered by the Regina Wildlife Federation and are to be purchased when you register or pre-register. Dinners on Saturday and Sunday will be $7 each and Saturday supper will be $20
Limited space for primitive camping is available on-site free of charge and there are several full service campgrounds and motels close to the venue. Give Peter a call 306-761-9026 or Rick at 306-924-1639 if you would like more information or help in finding accommodations in the area.
A Saskatchewan Sporting Clays Membership of $5.00 is required to participate in this shoot. Membership includes the privilege of shooting other shoots in the province and members will receive the Association’s newsletters.
A shooter wishing to have targets registered on the Alberta Sporting Clays system will be charged 2 cents per target. These fees will be over and above the $200 target fees for the 400 targets of the shoot.
The competition is based on the 400 targets. There will be no prizes on the Saturday targets. All presentations and trophies will be awarded after the 150 targets on Sunday.
For those who want to have a bit more fun, there will be a 10 station, 100-target course on Friday. We would like people to participate with pump guns, small gauge guns or Grandpas old two-pipe gun. However, the choice is yours and you are welcome to shoot what ever you would like. We ask people to register for this shoot between the hours of 11AM and 1PM so shooting is completed by 3 PM. This is so we have time to set the course for Saturday. Fees for this fun shoot will be $25 per round and shooters will have to pull their own targets.
Pre-squadding; if people send in names and pre-registration for a squad of 5 we will accept this, otherwise shooters will squad themselves at the shoot
