Square butt to round

Hogue makes something called a Monogrip that basically mimics a round butt grip on a square butt revolver.

Hi Sharps 63

Something to consider, once you modify your gun you can never go back. If you are like most people we get tired of our toys at some point and then sell them and buy a different toy.

A lot of people like myself will rarely buy modified guns that can't be restored to org. condition.

Buy yourself one of the grips that converts a square butt to a round butt and try that.

Just my two cents worth.

I did it to my first K-38 back in the 70s in order to construct an orthopaedic grip that fit my hand and the test box. Still in my collection. Few target (ISSF or NRA) shooters leave a competition piece un tinkered with. Gotta get those points over the other guys on the line, you know.

cheers

I did one of my own back in the 80's. Fair bit of work, but not rocket science. I've seen round butt to square butt grips but not the other way around. Try some Roper stocks from Herretts to make your square butt fit a smaller hand a little better. A lot less work, nice stocks, and they do work. - dan
