Yes.. SDB (new) comes built ready to go in the caliber of your choice...
They are a little different from standard presses as the dies and the conversion are one... The dies are proprietary because of the small footprint of the toolhead.

So to load a 2nd caliber I would need another caliber conversion ...it kinda sounds like it comes with an extra one..

Thanks for the replies...

When you buy Dillon SDB package fron Dillon, they always come with one caliber conversion kit. It may sound like it comes with one extra because some seller only sell the press WITHOUT the caliber conversion kit (e-bay sellers are notorious in doing this type of "fine prints" to unknowing buyers).

To answer your question YES, you will need another DILLON SDB specific caliber conversion kit to load for a different type of round.

All Dillon press requires specific caliber conversion kit for each caliber you intend to reload.

There is a big disadvantage of SDB (if I may call it that way-IMHO) aside from limited calibers you can reload compare to other Blue press like RL550B. The caliber conversion kit for SDB is way more pricey than the 550B and as what Bear said, SDB uses a proprietory Dillon die (NOT the standard 7/8" x 14 Dies), which means you can only use a Dillon SDB specific dies for this baby, which sucks!!
