Squeaky Glock 17

Just cleaned my Glock for the first time and it squeaks when I pull the slide back. I believe I oiled it in all the right places? Is this normal?

Yup, don't worry about it.

Could be the recoil spring. I oiled mine lightly and noticed less squeaks.

Yes my Glock does the same, it is normal to Glock but not normal to the other guns, I call this inperfection.

I was worried about the squeak from my G22 when I got it too but once I got about 500 rounds through her, the squeaking went away.

Put about 5000 rounds through, then give it it's second cleaning, if it still squeeks, then there's a problem
