Squeaky Glock 17?!

Hi, I just bought a brand new Glock 17. I have taken it to the range twice and put 350 rounds through it. I cleaned it each time. I noticed since day 1 that it squeaks when you rack the slide. It is really starting to bother me. Any suggestions what the problem is, or how to fix it?
 
I haven't oiled any part of it yet... I am a beginner, this is my first firearm and wanted some input before I go ahead and oil.
 
No, reading the manual and lubricating your pistol properly will make up for the fact that you didn't do it before you started shooting it. You state you've "cleaned" it after both range trips. Are you running it dry?

The squeak will eventually go away on it's own.

It'll probably go away once you put some rounds downrange. 350 isn't even close to broken in, and quit cleaning the damn thing. I don't even think about cleaning my Glock, unless, unless, well I don't even know what would make me think about cleaning it. Seriously though, I go at least 1000 rounds between cleanings, and even that is mainly due to boredom.

ETA, I reread your posts, Glocks may not need a whole lot of cleaning, but proper lubrication is essential. The manual will show you all the places that need it. When I first got mine, it was binding up, two drops of oil made that go away. Don't over oil, whatever you do, but you do need some.

mine squeaked when brand new as well.
wipe off the copper coloured lube on the slide and rails and use a little oil on the metal rails and a drop or 2 on the recoil spring and you should be good to go.
 
As mentioned it is normal and it is the captive recoil rod.
If you want to lose the squeak, you can buy a Non-Captive Rod and Spring set from Wolff.
 
It's been a couple of years since I broke in a new glock.... Aren't you supposed to put 500 round into her before cleaning so that copper colored lubricant can work?

I generally put a couple thousand rounds through my Glock 22 between cleanings and use very little oil to lubricate. I've never had feeding or extracting issues. Glocks like to be treated rough yet they still shoot great.;)

Firearms are designed to work best when clean and properly lubricated. The fact that Glocks(and others) can withstand significant abuse and lack of cleaning/maintenance is no reason to do so. I clean all my guns every time they get shot. One round or a thousand, it gets cleaned.
