Need a hand,
I'm helping a friend repair a old .22 that he picked up from his father when he went to a home
It's beat up and in need of parts/parts. I've done a search and really cannot find any information
Does anybody have any spare parts or an old squires bingham that I can use for parts?
I think that some version of the Savage 64 has parts that look like they will fit, but would really like to confirm this
Thanks
Jack

Norinco copied the 20b when making the JW-14. They're a pain in the butt to disassemble but mine works great other than that. Not sure if the parts are interchangeable but if they are jw-14's are relatively cheap and plentiful. Hope that helps.

From what I recall numrich or western gun parts carried them. I actually repaired my friends with the same issue early last year. Hard to find parts, and there is a small nylon piece in it that is a pain to get.

Excellent shooters!
Sometimes finicky on ammo but with a good HV round they are unbelievably accurate .22's Even with the old short radius sights, it was scary accurate. Imagine if it was possible to mount modern Tech Sights on it!
I had both the Norinco and an original S&B. The Norc copy was a piece of utter s**t. Trigger reset sear spring problems, magazines were made of plastic and wouldn't feed. Double feeds, failure to eject, failure to extract, just f**king junk. I literally gave it away after trying for a long time to get it to run properly.
Numrich has parts depending how bad you want them (pricey). Western gun parts has parts for them too. I swapped out my extractor, and spring on my actual S&B which I got from Western. Very very expensive and overpriced but you won't find them anywhere else so he can get away with it obviously.
