I own a Squires Bingham Model 16 which if I am not in error is the same as the ARMSCOR M-1600.

As I am thinking of letting it go I was wondering if its even worth selling as I have no clue what it could ever be worth.

Anyone have any info on it ?

Mine has the retractable stock and 15rnd mags.

Thanks

Very popular a few decades ago. Essentially the same as a model 20 (and Norinco jw-14), only dressed up. Oddly enough, the ak appearing model is forbidden fruit.

I don't touch "values" too much anymore, but these do fetch higher prices than the base model 20. They are reliable, and more accurate than given credit for. Popular issues include lost carryhandle/rear sight, feed lips on magazines causing feeding trouble, and cursed aluminum trigger.

Well mine is complete with the carry handle, 2 mags in perfect shape since this things only fired about 300 - 400 rounds.

Thanks for your input...

Be careful...it is a place full of temptations!

The search feature leaves a lot to be desired...

I saw one at a show a few months back that the guy was asking $225 he sold it for $200. I have the squires m20 which is the hunnter looking version, all internals are the same, I bought it and another the same for $175 for the two. That being said the black rifle looking one is a bit more desirable to some. For a cheaper gun I find them to be damn accurate and with several thousand (5-7000) rounds through mine since I bought it used they're very tough.

I have one with the push in stock, complete, three mags, once I cleaned the crap out of it, I mean really take that sucker apart, it became a flawless shooter, its to much of a weird abortion to part with, my sons can cross that bridge, cool odd ball unit. My 2 cents.
