Squirrel / Grizz defense gun is done. No more chatter needed!

Serious question, have you tried subsonic 300 BLK and a linear comp like the KX3? Interested in hearing the report to the shooter if any significant difference.

Also squirrels are indeed serious business https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrical_disruptions_caused_by_squirrels

Never tried 300blk in a linear, did a 223 years ago. It made a difference to me as the shooter, much less harshness in the sound, but others nearby didnt seem to notice as much as i felt i did. With 300blk i mainly used subsonic, just with that i could shoot without ear protection and felt it was ok, but generally just used earplugs. With this brake/flash suppressor it was very tame, people nearby recognised the lower sound levels immediately.

Yes, yes they are. I used to work for a power company, occasionally there would be a big bang, and my lights would go out. It was squirrels getting into the junction box out front, and getting zapped. I say squirrels because when one disappears another tends to look for them, and usually a day or two later, bang again. The grid guys used to high priority my address, without me having to call.

But that got me thinking, what if they are massing at a longer range, I would need to start taking shots sooner....
