Squirrel Hunting!

Are there any regulations for hunting squirrel? I will defiantly try to go hunting. In sask.

I'd be using me 10/22 forsure.

Better check the regs Squirrels are fur bearers.

Squirrel isn't open to hunting here, just trapping.

You can shoot squirrels all year long In Nova Scotia. So I have many options. but probably the single shot cooey .22 if I'm out for just squirrels.

I'm all about Squirrel hunting, its one of my favourite species as they are intelligent and super wary after the leaves drop.
I use a scoped .22lr Marlin 925, headshots only and only when the tree provides a backstop. Too many people maim/waste Squirrel with shotguns which is a shame as they taste SO good.

Remember in ONTARIO red sqirrels are fur bearing animals and a trapper's license is required. Not much meat anyway JITC
