I'M PUMPED TO GET SOME SQUIRRELS!!! This is my first year hunting and gonna try and get in as much small game hunting as possible.

Small game animals like squirrels and rabbits are NOT varmints.

Hmm, I'd consider the red squirrel to be pretty much a varmint, in fact, more aptly termed a "tree rat". But the wildlife regs here do not agree with me.

You can shoot squirrels all year long In Nova Scotia. So I have many options. but probably the single shot cooey .22 if I'm out for just squirrels.

No you cannot hunt them all year round only from during it's hunting season but you can shoot them all year round on your rural farm,cottage or house if they are a nuissance.
