does any one know if it's possable to call these animals late in the season i know their are wounded bleat calls for luring preditors in but can you call the spiences your hunting in such as squirl or rabbits which is all i can hunt at the moment

You can drop a couple birch trees near the edge of an open area where there is sign to begin with. And let it alone over night , check the following day for activity. If the area holds any it will be covered with sign, then just setup in the evening and have some fun. :)

Definitly not for rabbits, but I am not sure about tree squirrels, I do use one for ground squirels (gophers) I think they work on the same principal though, the alarm sound gets them curious and the expose themselfs (I don't mean drop there pants :) ) to look to see what is going on..

If you dropped some birch , it will be like a town picnic :D
He knows what he is talking about. When I first got to Northern Alberta, on a friends nearby parcel of land, this made for an awesome set-up to shoot snowshoe hares. I would quietly walk into and set up in the morning or early evening.
Those days, I usually used a 22 rimfire rifle, or the rook rifle rechambered for 38 special using lightly handloaded wadcutter loads.
