Update: I bought a used Diana 48 which is rated at 1050fps. It was chrono'd at 870 with a lead 8gr pellet. I put a Hawke 3-9x42 AO AirMax scope on it and it will put them all into a dime at 50ft. I put a couple Greys in the crosshairs but the backdrop wasn't good so no shot. I have a section of fence that is very secure so will try and bait them over onto that section. This Diana rifle with scope weighs more than any centerfire rifle I have ever owned but it is a tack driver. Gonna take head shots only, don't want to torture them just kill them as humanely as possible.
