@#$%^$% Squirrels!!!

Drive me nut's at times as well... but just have to remember that whitetails are used to the sounds of other critters in the bush. How many times have you heard a squirrel shrieking bloody hell a couple ridges over? Just like us humans hearing the neighour starting up a lawmmower. My 2 cents worth!!

What type of barbecue sauce?

No more like pork. They are good eating. I always soak them for a little in salt water, then quarter them. Good fried with onions, green peppers and bacon. Some people cube them and shishkabob them.

I have read that the pioneers in Ontario considered black squirrel a delicacy.

crosman 150 .22 cal with crosman hollo points = no more noisy squirell:D

squirelll tastes the same as rabbit. black and greys taste the exact same and the only difference is the color of their fur. subsitute squirell for rabbit and nobody will know the difference.

boil before frying or soak em in salt water if you want flavourless meat;)

coat in shake n bake and fry on low-med heat until just a tint of pink is left for perfect flavour and a super tender chunk of meat :D

squirrels = fur bearing...... might not be legal to shoot em!

but if they run headlong into your bullet, maybe it's not your fault.

But wait, isn't there a season on the Columbian Ground species?

I have my trappers license;)

I don't mind a few of them squeeling and chirping but this is bordering on insane:runaway:
