SR 1911 front sight replacement

Anybody know where to find a replacement sight for said Ruger pistol it's already had one warranty replacement and that one just broke (while shooting again). Doesn't really matter what type ie dot or fibre just want a drop in that is attainable in Canada,appreciate any help thanks.

Snapshots in Quebec is the Ruger warranty centre and they can sell you the Ruger fibre optic sight. It is made of bar stock and not MIM, so it should be more durable. My front sight broke off too earlier this year.
 
Mine broken off last month too, sent it in to Snapshot, they replaced it for free without any question asked... great service from Snapshot and Ruger...
 
Thanks for the responses gang I actually don't own the pistol anymore I sold it to a relative and he doesn't want to send it away,when I sent it in it was gone for six weeks so he wants to do it himself(and justify a sight tool purchase).
 
ive got 2 Ruger SR1911's one full size and one CMD and every time i shoot a mag i look at the front sight.
guess im just jumpy with everyone saying how theirs are flying off all the time.
couple thousand rounds down the pipe for both and no problems so far.... yet i keep checking.....

Yea. I think there must have been either a bad run, or initially the sights were fine (I feel the jinx). I was relatively early on purchasing one(gov.), and have no idea what the guys are talking about (rattle traps, front sights flying off...?)
