SR-22 bbl threaded?

my SR-22 looks like it has a bbl cap on the end, these thing threaded?

Im pretty sure they are being imported with threaded muzzles now...try twisting it off?

yes i gave er the big twist just with my had but it didnt move sure looks like a cap on the end covering threads going to get a clothwrench and try harder. just thought some of you guys may have allready tryed/ figured this

It is a threaded barrel.

I just got my SR22 today... Loomis... Mine came without flash suppressor... I think most of the Rugers shipped to Canada no longer have the suppressor. Instead it comes with a thread protector... It's a serrated ring, about an inch long that's screwed onto he threads t the end of the barrel... Odd that its so tight... Should turn right off...

I've never heard of an SR22 without threaded barrel...

It is a 1/2-28 thread incase you wanted an after market flash suppressor.

Hmm, Mine, which I bought 3 weeks ago at LeBarons is not threaded. (It does has a collapsible stock tho).

mine doesnt look like the pic, no knurls on it. it looks like the cap is back bout 1/2 inch im thinkin its not comeing off dont think its threaded darnit

Got mine in April, no threads just smooth profile. I assumed cdn imports just got screwed. Or not screwed, depending how you look at it
A Dlask barrel took care of the problem for now...

There seems to be a wide range of styles that did get imported. I bought mine last April in South-West Ontario and it came with the threaded barrel with end cap and a six position collapsible stock. Some only have a three position stock, others have non collapsible. While others have no threaded barrel. Not sure why the differences.
