SR-22 Bolt closes on last round

Any body else have some other ways of doing it? I would love to hear them. Toni.

I ditched the hold open altogether as a waste of time, and have not looked back. It's somewhere in a parts bin drawer, I think. Works fine without it.

I've always found the 10/22 hold-open/release irritating, but I found the home-job bolt release mod pretty easy, and a great improvement. It at least eliminates farting around with the toggle for half the time.

just get a plactic wedge from a glass supply store in a bright colour
and use it to hold back the bolt went its on the bench!

I load CB as a first round in my mags, it is so week that it won't open the bolt after the last shoot. It tells you right away that the mag is empty without dry fireings
