SR-22 or Marauder....can't decide

Well I'm happy to report that I went with the Marauder. Thanks to Dave from hical.ca for the quick shipping. Haven't assembled it yet but the kit looks like a thing of beauty. Solid and feels like great quality. Looking forward to getting it assembled and trying it out.

nothing plastic or polymer is EVER rock solid!

The Maurader kit is as solid as any other kit I've seen. It has zero slop anywhere and fits up tight, unlike a few of the aluminum kits I've tried. If the basis of your comment is being made on your dislike for the tapco stocks, you owe it to yourself to play with one of these a little bit. Promag stocks are excellent in both quality and function. I absolutely hated the Archangel stock when I saw it. I had my mind made up before I ever handled one, then I acquired one on a trade, decided it didn't look as bad in person as I thought, had a spare 10/22 and decided to build it. I absolutely love it. It's unbelievably light, even with a 12.5" Dlask barrel and shoots fantastic. I actually prefer it to the Sr22 for bashing around with. I've drug it all over hell's acres and it still looks like it did when it was new. This was the sole reason I bought a maurader, which is IMHO the best kit for the $ out there, and I've tried pretty much everything except the troy. These kits are far from the junk some people like to imply they are. ;)
