SR-22 VS Archangel 1022 Kit

Sorry I know this has been asked hundreds of times...

Presently waiting for the LGR to finally fall here in Kebekistan to purchase a new one.

I have been looking at all kinds of SR-22 and Archangel kits reviews and have the following questions for you on the CGN forum:

The SRV is selling at 565 $ at the Baron.
A plain 1022 is selling at 246 $.
A 1022 target (heavy barrel) is selling at 455 $
And a Archangel kit is selling at 165 $at Mystic precision.

Would I have a better gun than a SR-22 if I would buy a 1022 heavy barrel with the Archangel kit ?

Or to put it in another way, as an average shooter would I notice the difference ?:HR:

With a ruger 10 22, i doubt you will see any difference. I would bet the variations from one gun to another would show up in more than sr22 vs archangel.

As for quality of the AA vs SR, there is no comparison.

Yes I meant the AA556R Kit. The Nomad is beautiful but I would prefer an extendable stock rather than a folding one.

I am still woundering tough if the SR-22 stock and assembly is better than the Archangel kits. I guess I would have to see it in person to make a decision.

I have a nomad kit and if I had it to do over I would buy an SR-22... once it was all said and done I had spent nearly the same $$ but the Nomad is plastic VS the SR being all metal. Overall performance cant be much different since both are based on the same internals. But in terms of weight/quality feel, ive held and SR-22 and it feels amazing. If you can build the 556 cheaper, you wont be disappointed. My nomad kit is extremely high quality, well built, tough and amazing looking. It went together with NO surprises and everything works exactly as it was listed. But, as I said, at the end of the day I spent as much as an SR-22 would have cost (or really close to it). The 556 kit is quite a bit cheaper than the nomad so maybe thats the deal breaker. For a new shooter, I dont think performance is an issue either way.
 
Get the ArchAngel 556 kit.
