What is the hold up on this gun, P&D had them at the Calgary show!
:confused::confused::confused:
Do the whole salers play with the gun shops that tickle there fancy first?
Did you not tell me that FN sports had a few for you, are they still on the way?
I know that Inland gave most of there SR .22 one supplier and told many others they were short of this gun, is this true?
To bad the M&P 15-22 is restricted but I will call you if you still have one for me!
To bad there is so much B.S. in the whole sale end of the gun biz!!!
Sounds like a good old boys club!!:(:confused:

Employees get first dibs, and they snatched these up quick at wholesale sports...... So I just bought a 10/22 instead

I don't think this is quite accurate.... The demand for SR-22's is very high and all of the dealers that I have talked to received way fewer then they had on order. For instance, Wholesale Sports in Calgary had 100 SR-22's on order and received only 5 in their first shipment... I, just by luck, happened to be standing at the counter the day they arrived and was able to snag the 1 that wasn't already pre-sold.

The backorders should start getting filled pretty soon, so give it some time before getting too worked up.

My understanding is that it's not so much a shortage, as Ruger can't build them fast enough. My local gun shop had 30 sold before they hit the shelf, now they're waiting for their second shipment of 30. I have a 10/22, but a friend has the SR22, I've shot it and it will be worth the wait.
peace...

Quantity supplied can't keep up to quantity demanded, that creates a shortage. ;)

So these .22s are non restricted?

Is there a shortage for SR22?!. I have four. All NIB, I will let two go for what I paid for. No sweat!. Just PM me.
Cheers all.

Any hot item

There is a fair bit of personal opinions and favoritism amongst some of the wholesalers and retailers and rigtfully so any dealers that have been in this business as a career or main source of income will form solid working relationships with reps and companys that wholesale and import. But very rarely do we ever as importers not know in advance how many fire arms will be delivered and this is where the games start. Does a smaller dealer pucker and kiss ass or just wait his turn. The firearm industry is no different than wall street, its just not againt the law to do at their descression what they do. We all know life is not fair get over it!
We ended up with 2 SR .22's and they both went to people I have never met, I will wait like the rest! And so will my staff.;)
