$520 brand new. If you pick up a case you can always get them to knock a little more off the rifle.

I just bought mine a couple weeks ago. Still waiting on some parts to arrive in the mail (rails, red dot, mag release) so I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I would recommend doing the auto bolt release mod. Takes 10-15 min and doesn't cost you a dime.

From everything I have read, the sr-22 is a popular tacticool .22 and very accurate/reliable.

What does the mod do for you and how do you do it? Instructions?

Here you go:
On the left is a stock (factory) bolt release.
On the right is a Auto bolt release.
To make your own auto bolt release simply use a small file or dremel and remove excess material so that your bolt release ends up looking like the one to the right.

***Note***
To ensure proper function of the auto bolt release, you do NOT want the top of your hole to be filed flat. Again, you want your auto bolt release to ressemble the one to the right.

Le baron is the cheapest I've found them at.

That's a smokin' deal - lots of us paid more

Probably because you bought it at the above quoted retailer, lol. LeBaron good for ammo, not much else.

Between WSS and Ellwood Epps you generally have most firearms covered and at decent price.

So this would in effect turn the semi-auto rifle into a fully auto rifle with no selector switch!!

Uhhh no. Absolutely not.

What it allows you to do is to simply pull the charging handle back to unlock the bolt.
That in comparison to pulling it back and pushing up on the bolt release.
