I purchased a SR-410 12.2inch shotgun.
Now I waited close to two years to get my hands on one, I also stocked up on ammunition for the last two years so I’d have shells to shoot in it. So when one came available I snatched it up from a company in Calgary purchased it online in the description it says that this gun was designed for the Canadian market that it was nonrestrictive. They also came out with a 12.2 inch barrel version over than 9.9 inch so I purchase start with a bunch of upgrades.
Now this firearm is manufactured in turkey.
Received the firearm, it’s a beautiful gun with the wood grain and the upgraded finish the only problem is I can’t shoot this gun!
Ammunition will not go into the cylinder it will not rotate and it will not eject the shells because this firearm was designed for European standards for the 410 ammunition it is slightly tighter than the North American ammunition.
Now the company I bought it from sent me a shipping label told me that they would fix the problem and it would be just like new.
At first they told me that old ammunition works and it’s fine that the new ammunition is made larger which is not true, And said that is the manufacture of the ammunition changing the size of the shells, that is what the problem was.
Also the injector will not work properly because it was designed for a different diameter of Ammunition.
I found this out going to the gun range and I couldn’t get the shells in the cylinder federel, Winchesters gets caught up on the metal at the end of the shotgun shell and I wasn’t able to rotate the cylinder. I shot three shells in it, one at a time.
Company sent me a shipping label to have this gun fixed and it was supposed to be fixed just like Factory came back shells to not go into the cylinder and the cylinder walls are so scratched up.
it’s totally disgusting.
Sent them an email and said all we got a different gunsmith now and It will be fixed properly for shells to go properly and it’ll be just like Factory
Got it back and shells do go in but Inside of the cylinders are all scratched up which in my opinion is it gonna rust I’ve sent him another email I have not heard back from them I told them that they should just replace the cylinders and have the manufacture designed it for North American standards

In my opinion right now I am not very happy this gun would look good on the wall but that’s about it.
you can’t shoot it is it won’t take North American ammo.
If you’re planning on buying one of these make sure you talk to whoever you’re purchasing it from and make sure that it is set up for North American standards of ammunition before you buy it

Descriptions of it include, The barrel is rated for steel shot and is 9.8” in length, threaded for interchangeable chokes with a chamber sized for shells up to 3"

You state, "Got it back and shells do go in"

Followed up with "you can’t shoot it is it won’t take North American ammo."

One or the other ?
