SR22 and Accessories

Ruger has a line of SR22 accessories that include sights, most dealers in Canada have them ordered but they are still filling the pipeline in the states hopefully by summer we will see them here.

Any AR stock will fit, but you will need to make sure that you get a new buffer tube as well as the OEM stock and buffer tube are fused together.

Ruger has plenty of accessories specifically for the SR-22 that you can look at here: shopruger.com/Tactical/departments/60/ including rails and sights. But that being said, most common AR accessories will fit.

P&D has some of the Ruger accessories in stock right now but I would recommend calling today as they are going fast! :runaway:

I am making myself full length side and bottom picatinny rails for the handguard, milspec hard anodized with the proper hold spacing.

I'll post up some pictures when done, see if there is any intrest. If there is, i'll make up a bunch more sets for you guys!

Sorry for the Hijack, but does anyone know the barrel profile on the SR-22? Light/Medium/Heavy?

I'd call it medium-heavy-ish... It's not a "heavy barrel" compared to target rimfires sporting 1" bull barrels but it is certainly not a taper or light profile either... It is a straight profile somewhere between 5/8" and 3/4" (I'm guessing but I can measure it tonight) diameter.

not really. what im going to to is take a Norinco CQ butt stock (just the slider) and use that on it after drilling holes for the adjustments.

I got the front rail and the 'Ruger' Magpul front and rear sights. Very nice. I also have a Vortex strikefire red/green dot for it. I just wait now to keep the funds rolling so I can get a LaRue QD mount for the strikefire, and a new butt. I like the Magpul MOE. I wish it came with a tube though. This is by far the most expensive 22 I have seen yet. No end in sight. Love it.

I would like a short bottom rail for a grip or bipod. I know I didn't need the mono rail look on top but I like it. I just had it out and put 30 or so rounds into 2" at 30 yards. I figure thats about as good as I'll get with the dot.

The prices I have seen from 500 to 675 depending on stock. And the sky is the limit for add ons.
