Anyone know if you can change the forend or handguard (sorry im a noob) to one for an AR? Says its a AR Style Nut and free floating so I wonder if you can just take off the round one and bolt on a rail system from an AR?

Anyone know I dont want to try it and waste money on parts.

Dont like the look of the bolt on rails but if its the only option then I guess itll have to do.

Thanks

You could buy this, it was made for the SR-22, other then that I'm not sure, as I have never even seen the SR in person...yet ;)

Any free float forearm "should" work. In the event it doesn't, you may have to remove the factory handguard nut and that is PITA. That piece doesn't use a standard AR wrench and may need to use channel locks if a strap wrench doesn't work. But you will find that none of the aftermarket hand guards with rails will line up with the OEM scope rail that comes with the SR22 Nordic Chassis.
