sr22 barrel

Is the barrel on the SR22 the same as a standard 10 22 or is it a heavier
barrel.

Yup it is

The SR-22 barrel is shorter, .750" diameter with a recessed crown. You will need to sand out the barrel channel on your 10/22 for it to fit.
