With a timney trigger and hundred round drums this thing is a hell ofa lot of fun... it does misfire or stovepipe on occasion though, its an ammo issue i'm sure...

However.... I was looking around... first at KIDD then DLASK bolts.... and came across a POWER CUSTOM model, titanium pinned firing pin, improved machining and edges etc, and with a strengthened guide rod along with 3 spring selection (which I was looking for because I wanted a cooler charging handle) i'd be able to customize around differences in ammo easily.

The expensive part is the bolt...

$125 to $180 depending on brand....

worth it at all?

It really is the only thing to replace left... the barrel is good... already have a timney trigger group w/ extended release... a nice scope and red dot... sling the way i like it.... etc

I love my PC match bolt. Side by side with the Ruger, it makes the Ruger bolt look like a high school metalwork project. Does it increase performance enough to justify $160? No. Would I buy it again? Yes. The Kidd scalloped bolt is nice too, but lacks the cross pin to prevent the front of the firing pin from rising.
