I'm toying with the idea of going a different direction with my SR22 and build something else. I need some advice. I have no idea what the complete chassis and stock is worth so if anybody could give me a rough idea I'd appreciate it.

There really isn't many for sale so the price is whatever you and the buyer agree on. I don't see anyone paying an arm and a leg for one given the price of sr22s and aftermarket kits. Ask more than you think its worth and add that the price is negotiable, work it out with the buyer. If I were selling it Id probably ask $200 to start and let buyers make offers.
Sell the SR22 as it is, you will get more action on it that way and probably move it pretty quick if you are priced reasonably. Then grab yourself the cheapest base model 10/22 and start your direction change from there, you really have nothing special(not a slam) with your SR over a regular model except for a slighter larger diameter and shorter barrel but if your planning a build Im assuming you will be changing the barrel anyways.
Thought about that. The SR isnt stock and I dont really want to part with the barrel(Dlask) or the rest of the action. I have the original barrel and could convert it back to stock but figured it would be easier this way.

Having the Dlask barrel is a great start. What direction where you thinking about going with your build? I ask because if you are thinking of going a more traditional route, like a Hogue or some kind of other "traditional" rifle stock than you should just keep the SR chassis in the closet, that way if you do ever decide to sell atleast you have all the factory parts for your rifle.

Houge is what I'm thinking. The AR platform isn't wowing me anymore. Probably makes more sense to pull the barrel and sell the whole rifle. Thanks for your input.aha more details
$200 sounds cheap to me when a plastic Nomad kit costs more than that. At that price I think I'd hang on to it.

I would disagree with Factionrr. I've got my SR 22 and then bought Archangel 10 / 22 Deluxe Target Stock for $85. (http://www.brownells.com/search/index.htm?k=Archangel-Deluxe&ksubmit=y). It was on sail. Brownells shipped it to me to Canada together with a picatinny rail for a scope and here I have two different style chassis to play with

well, Factionrr suggest to sell SR 22 and by cheaper 10/22. The SR 22 (AR looking) chassis, in my opinion, is better (quality (not plastic), look and fill) then AA556R - ARCHANGEL CONVERSION STOCK (http://www.promagindustries.com/product-p/aa556r.htm) or ATI Strikeforce Stock (http://www.atigunstocks.com/83-stocks).

I believe he is very confused lol Just my opion OP as I have owned a few done up SR22's and quite a few DAR.22 builds, dont sell the factory SR chassis in order to fund another rifle stock. A hogue or simular stock is very affordable and at the end of the day if you ever want to sell the SR or switch back atleast you have the rifle as it came from the factory.

Ive seen the sr22 nordic components kits going for around 400.00 on various websites, that includes the upper, lower, handguard and stock. Like others have said it will be easier selling the complete gun unless the nordic kit is selling cjeap enough. Fortunately when i sold mine i had the original parts to replace my aftermarkets so the firearm sold fast as complete. If it was me selling it I would ask between 300-400 negotiable.
