Hey CGN

Im looking to upgrade my sr22 .22lr riffle before I spend money on crap parts need some advice how to spend wisely on parts To make this riffle extremely reliable

1) barrel swap any recommendations (is this possible? Black color is a must )
2 ) trigger go Bx or spend a little more on aftermarket trigger kit job
3) extended mag release what’s is the best and reliable one
4) extended charging handle best and reliable one
5) extractor
6) firing pin
7) aftermarket bolt

Thanks for the help

Add a reciever and stock to your list and build exactly what you want. Always better to have one more gun, rather then a pile of enough parts to almost build one more gun.

Kidd Ultralight barrel. They come in black.
Kidd trigger kit. These are ~50$ more dollars than a BX trigger but way better.
You can change the extractor and firing pin out to a Kidd.

Not sure about charging handle options. I have a Kidd (see a trend here) but they are fairly expensive.

When in doubt Kidd has the best options.

So your plan is to replace everything except the receiver, stock, and hand guard?

Its your money so obviously you can spend it how you like, but I would have just built a custom 10/22. It wouldn't have the tactical look, but it would probably be less expensive when its all said and done.

I say this considering the initial investment of the SR22 is probably more than a custom receiver, stock, vblock, and pins.

With your current rifle I would just go with the BX trigger and an extended bolt handle from DLASK. The bolt handle from DLASK comes with KIDD springs and a new guide rod.

Change cycle spring for target ammo using Kidd components and Kidd trigger kit or even cheaper Kidd trigger springs,to put any more money into that rig would be a waste bet you’ll do .500@ 50m after that your splitting hairs I’ve done 2 with same results.
If your going for looks keep spending. In the end it’s still a 10/22
